Regarded by connoisseurs as one of the world's great black teas, Keemun occupies a special place in China's extraordinary tea heritage. Its lightly roasted, elegant complexity and distinctively smooth character set it apart from all other black teas.

Produced in Qimen County of Anhui Province, from which it takes its name, Keemun is the black tea that built China's international reputation for fine tea in the 19th century. The liquor is a deep reddish-brown with a uniquely lightly roasted aroma carrying hints of orchid and pine. The flavour is smooth and complex, with a gently smoky, almost wine-like quality and a clean, lingering finish. Unusually for a black tea, Keemun is excellent without milk, and can be steeped multiple times to reveal different aspects of its character.
